Starting in 3, 2, 1...

As you may already know, pokemon_bigbang is opening for sign-ups in about three days (April 1, 2012)! While you're all getting ready and preparing ready-made teams of your friends where applicable, here are some things you should know about this round:

• Sign-up dates have changed. Writers have from April 1-May 1 to sign up, but now both Beta-readers and Artists have from April 1-June 1 (two months).


• The Big Bang officially begins on May 1, 2012 and ends on August 9, 2012. For the Calendar of Events, click here.


• Team dynamics have changed. Teams may consist of up to four people, same as last time, but now two writers can work together as well. So a team can have two writers, an artist, and a beta; one writer, two artists, and a beta; or any smaller variations of those groups.


• For two-writer teams, the word minimum jumps from 10,000 words to 15,000 words, just to keep things challenging. :)


• Artist minimum requirements have changed. Instead of having no guidelines, artists are now required to create either three "full" pieces or six "light" pieces. For more information, click here.
