Want to participate, but can't think of a good plot? That's what this post is for! Here you can post fic prompts for big bang writers to use. Some guidelines: ✗ This post is always open! Leave a prompt at any time. ✗ Anyone can leave a prompt, and you can leave as many prompts as you want. ✗ Remember that big bang fics have to be at least 10,000 words, so make sure your prompt has enough in it for a story that long. ✗ One prompt per comment. Anonymous commenting is preferred. ✗ Prompts should follow the general rules of the big bang—that means all verses (games, anime, manga, etc.), all pairings, all characters (including Pokémon, excepting original characters), and all ratings are allowed. So your parents saved the world a couple times. So what? Where does that leave you? ...actually, it leaves you as a great target for kidnapping, chaos, and other misdeeds. Unfortunately, you're just trying to escape your parents' legacy and get all the badges!

Basically, child character resents the influence of his/her parents and wants to make a name for him/herself. Unfortunately, that's tricky.

Tricky prompt, because most of the kids of heroes would be considered OCs. But if you can find a character whose parents are well-known in the Pokemon world (such as the Hoenn heroes with Norman and Prof. Birch) then you could use this prompt.

I'd love to see it and all the feelings of resentment toward parental figures!
